Ranthambore National Park is one of the most visited tiger reserves in India, but it's not just the wildlife & nature enthusiasts who visit the park. A living temple on the grounds attracts thousands of religious pilgrims to Ranthambore every year and history lovers are drawn to the ruins of Ranthambore Fort- the 10th century fort, which is a colossal citadel founded in 944 by Chauhan Rajputs. Ranthambore Forest is spread across the area of 1334 sq. km within that the Ranthambore Fort poised on a sheer cliff in the center of the park is an attraction of its own. The lush expanses of Ranthambore Park extend from gentle steep slopes of the Vindhyas to the sharp hills of the Aravalli providing home to approximately 70 tigers. Having this unique topography, the forest is intriguing for its meadows, ponds, plateaus, waterfalls and thriving foliage around its canals.
About Safari
The main attraction however remains the famed Ranthambore national park safari. Our guests can take both morning and evening safaris. There are ten rails around the park, and be prepared to sight the magnificent Indian tiger.
